You have to love the thoroughness of Australian Post contractors who work Sunday mornings and bring me presents!
So, everything sans the rear wheel has arrived, should have ordered a new camera because mine decided today of all days when I was going to give it something tasty to shoot packed up on me
I had to use the HTC for shots so I apologise for the “mobile camera-ish-ness†of the following pictures. When rear wheel is on and build is 100% I will take some “glamour shots†with a proper camera and post them up.
I have to trim the fork steerer and the handlebars yet and obviously put the rear wheel on, cogs, chain etc and then start hammering around the joint.

A lot of that is due to the components I selected for the build, the tyres roll like a dream (high pressure) and are complimented well by the wheels, so smooth and silent.
Everything is tight, smooth and very responsive. The frame is just fantastic for the price! I do not know how you could fault the VISP frames when considering what a bargain they are.
Few tiny things to finish off, minor cosmetic issues, such as replacing bolts (chain ring / head stem / crank) for colour matching (I am anal retentive).
Will upgrade the Cane Creek Zero Stack Integrated Headset (came with the frame) with one with better quality bearings and possibly some carbon forks if I end up riding it a lot VISP forks weigh in at 750 grams)
I have ordered a Halo track cog (18T) and lock ring for the other side of the hub for fixed riding, I will also order another freewheel (15T or 16T)
Not much more, I can say, if you are thinking about buying a VISP frame for a bash about commuter or entry-level track frame then jump right in you won’t be disappointed for the money you spend. FYI size 58 cm frame weighs in at 2.1 kgs
Did the “photo bucket†link from an earlier post work? Could someone check please? ïŠ
Tomorrow in the daylight, I will take some proper photos to share with anyone that wants to gawk.
I thank you all for the comments and suggestions you have made, any questions I will answer. Now it’s time to think about my next project… Hardtail XC.
“Glamour†shots will be posted tomorrow ïŠ

I'm happy with mine too, as a bang for buck frame they are pretty good.
Enjoy your ride mate.

Brauluver how long ago did you purchase your wheels, of course you do know about inflation and how markets work and currancy exchange rates etc etc?
Because of this now the wheels cost about $130 from this link is broken who NEVER have stock. Expected stock levels to increase late June, who the fudge would want to wait for that?

A month ago, just logged on and set to aussie currency.knaps wrote: Brauluver how long ago did you purchase your wheels, of course you do know about inflation and how markets work and currancy exchange rates etc etc?
Price showed as 107, and shipping was free.
Wiggle charge the price showing at purchase and don't add any fees for conversion.
2 days later they were 106, then up to 110.
I'll have a look now.
114 and 110 today

When you use their on site convertor ,it automatically deducts the VAT that is a component of the UK price. What you see is what you pay.knaps wrote:Bloody confusing that the UK pound price they list is more expensive (when you convert it) then when you set the price to Australian dollar.
