Tour of NE Thailand

Looking to explore NE Thailand and specifically want to cycle beside the Mekong River and/or travel by boat partly..Happy to explore Laos and Cambodia also and possibly Vietnam...Not moving on every day ..duration from 2 weeks to two months..
Happy to divert ..no set plan..Ridden in Thailand before..Generally ride from 6am to 11am and then find a hotel or guesthouse...unless there is plenty of cloud cover..Happy to jump on a bus,train or tuk tuk..Start October

Hi,

I cycled in NW Thailand last year, alot less flat than along the Mekong, but may be you can get some tips and inspiration here

I strongly recommend Loas if you get the chance, some of the most easy going people on the planet.
