Postby Marty Moose » Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:23 pm

I have used this a bit I've found it a great and easy way to stretch a muscle I always struggled with causing me back pain.

Because of incorrect bike fit, I developed pain in the tendons at the knee end of the right biceps femoris. If I stretch my hamstrings before a ride and spend some time out of the saddle, the pain doesn't develop.

I always do an ITB stretch before getting into the main part of my ride; it's usually injured when you suddenly increase your intensity or duration of exercise, which can happen without you even knowing. I do a much less graceful variation of this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQ7xSCJWa3I
