My adventure into......
Postby Chaderotti » Mon Jul 12, 2010 2:39 pm
Had a race on Saturday, after about 15km I felt some nasty pain where the wing of my saddle contacts my under carriage. I looked down and thought my chamois was bunching up.
Get home, there was a bloody ingrown hair the size of a small child. 2 days later it's a bit larger and full of juice.
If I leave it, it'll probably pop when I go riding leading to excruciating pain
If I pop it, it'll hurt, and I won't be able to ride because of excruciating pain.
I'll be off the bike for a couple of days me thinks.

Go to the doctor and have it checked out, they can cause a lot more problems than you think and you may require antibiotics.

It sounds like you've grown a Testicle on your pube. Wait till you get a second one!

I don't wanna ask exactly where it is, I've only had them in the gluteal crease.
A good serve of a hot face cloth, a medical bourbon or three and it's time for the pain, keep it clean and dry for a day or two and I'm good.
Of course, this works for ME in these circumstances, I'll prolly get bollocked by the medics present but it's easier than waiting up to three weeks for an appointment, it seems there is never an acute case of anything in my town...

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

In times like this, makes me wish I was a 40 odd year old guy married to a lovely wife for more than a decade.

Half way there already Chaderotti. I'm sure there will be no shortage of people who will laugh about it. You just need to find one who can get the job done....whatever that entails.... nyuk...nyuk...nyuk....Chaderotti wrote:The only person who would get the job done and be able to laugh about it for years to come

Harden up Chad and attack it, then throw Metho on it. That's what I used too do.
