probably because they close the roads during triathlons and that limits the amount of traffic

Lately, I sleep a lot. I went for a 100km ride on Saturday then came home and slept for 2 hours. Yesterday I got up, went to a meeting, had lunch, came home and slept for 2 hours.

Sleeping is part of training so I am doing a lot of training

To answer your question, members might be part of http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/ and get their info there. Although, I am a member there and they are not very chatty there either.

Perhaps triathletes spend so much time training that they don't get time to post heaps on message boards?
