vittoria randonneur pro 32mm for commuting

Postby crog » Tue Aug 10, 2010 9:47 pm

Finally wore out 28's on the commuter, one was a no name bontranger something or other and the other a cheap maxix detonator or something.

Suffered alot of flats but after getting trwo flats and stranded I decided time for bullet proof tyres.

Thinking about Vittoria randonneur pro, currently $36 bucks from PBK and cheaper with the code. Further I am going to add some tyre liners to make it bullet proof

How do these stack up ?? Opinions most commutes on highway sholders or Yarra, scotchmans creek trails pending location. Further they should be OK on Deep V's I assume my 28's fitted OK

I use the Vittoria randonneur 700 x 28 and buy them for $39.95 in Australia and if I spend more than $100 it's free freight. At 95 kilo's I get average 6,500k's out of the rear and over 12,000 k's out of the front.
Good value.
