HURRY UP SUMMER!!!!
Postby BarryTas » Fri Aug 13, 2010 9:07 am
Oh, please hurry up spring/summer so i can go riding after work. I am getting sick of the spin room at the gym. I miss the smell of sun screen and the wing on my legs and arms.
Oh i keep thinking of the kms i could be racking up, and how easy it is to iwash my clothes.
I think i have written up a summer training plan about 5 times.
Oh hurry up Day Light Savings.

Summer in tassie is great as it does not get tooo hot. But you do get sun burn easier.
I love riding in the summer as you dont hace to rug up and you done have to carry as much clothing if any.....oh and the temp doesn't change too much from the morining to mid morining. oh and NO RAIN.

Its been a weird ol winter thats for sure. I think July was the driest since 1950 and August was the wettest since 78 [Thats for Hobart]
Without the cloud cover the nights were pretty chilly in July and bits of June. Although August was wet I got more Km's in just because its normally I bit warmer in the morning and evening when its wet.
I cant bloody wait to ditch the leg/arm warmers. Ive been able to go without a vest a couple of times in the last week or so, thats a good sign
