Brisbane to Gold coast awareness ride

Hi girls, so I have set myself a goal since returning to cycling and decided to kick it off with the Brisbane to Goldcoast 100k/m awareness ride. Has anyone ridden this and do you have any advice or even training advice for me.

I haven't ridden in it but I'm going on it. There are lots of shop rides around it. It's hard to know what training you need without knowing where you are at now? There is a thread somewhere on the Bris 2 GC. I think there is a training program on the website too.
