Those Euro kerbs are so shallow that us Sydneysiders would just take it as a minor road irregularity. No bunny hop needed.

How was the difference in speed 2:30 into the clip when he passed the bloke in the green . Poor bloke probably wondered what hit him, proves he had his helmet strap done up, would have come off from the wind pressure otherwise.

Yeah, maybe the rest of us need to ride a TT bike to appreciate how difficult a bunny hop is on a TT bike. Even if it is only 5cm or so.

I watched this again tonight. He was going seriously fast having just stood the bike up out of a corner and he lined up the lower section of gutter between two higher sections perfectly

Never ridden a fixie but that sounds hard. I could see some buckled rims there pretty easily.

Fixies are harder on wheels than other bikes, one of the reasons Velocity Deep V's are one of the preferred wheelsets
