Around kaleen. What's the plan? Pm me.LoveB wrote:Curoch, whereabouts are you from? I MIGHT drive down as well as the mrs wants to see the tulip farm in the morning. But I'll def bring the bikes out too.
I would take my pocket camera, but the tulips really deserve some loving.. I got some nice desktop wallpapers last year.
Cheers

Thanks. Would love to meet up, but can't really confirm time since it all depends on how long we take to see Floriade. And if we're too tired, may postpone the cycling till Mon morning.rockviewau wrote:im probs free sunday for a cruisy ride around the lake...
if u post details of when u wanna ride, i will see if me and the lady friend can get in there....
We're staying in Forrest, so will probably cycle from the hotel down to the lake, do a full loop, then cycle back.
PM me with mobile, and I can send a text on the day.

Arrived in Canberra, but no cycling today. Too pooped after Floriade.
Saw lots of cyclists on the streets today! Envy them - Canberra looks like a nice place to cycle.
Will try and do the lake loop tomorrow morning.

Better late than never to post an update.
We had a lovely ride on Mon morning, it was so cold I think I had frostbite on my fingers, and didn't sweat for the entire ride.

Cold? Hang on, that was the morning I had to work. Cold... sort of... bit foggy, but that was on my way home at four in the morning. (Yes - on the bike).
Being truthful, Monday was a beautiful day, and I missed out on a decent ride due to aforementioned work. But I did get to ride home yesterday in nicks and jersey - no shoe covers, pants, arm warmers, beanie, gilet, big gloves...
CT - thanks for bringing the good weather with you.

I ride, therefore I am. But don't ride into harm's way.
