Canberra Group Rides

Am heading to Canberra weekend after next looking for a weekend group ride 80-100km, 30-35 km/h. Searched the web etc and not found a lot. One suggestion was the Bike Shed out of Phillip but couldn't find ride details (is that the Bakery Bunch referred to in one of the other posts - 7am start ?.
Was also looking at Tuggeranong to Tharwa, Cotter, Stromlo, and back to Tuggernong, (maybe adding Black Mountain).

Any comments on road conditions ? Any groups doing something like this on Saturday or Sunday rides ?

A gaggle of Vets usually meets for a Sunday ride 0730 in Phillip at intersection of Melrose Dr and Hindmarsh Dr. Route varies but will often incl Cotter-Uriarra.
