Can I borrow a compressor please?

Postby Kalgrm » Fri Nov 23, 2007 12:11 pm

I know it's a bit strange to ask this here, but I think I have the best chance of finding a compressor amongst you lot, rather than my photography friends.

I need to borrow (or hire for a carton) a compressor for a week or so. Mine has carked it and it's going to take 7 - 10 days to come in under a warranty. I can't wait that long .....

I'm just after the type of compressor many people have around the home. 30 - 40 litre bottle, 1 to 2 HP motor, etc. The type of thing people do spray-painting with or keep in their workshop to run air tools.

I'll pick it up and return it (with said carton). My email address is below. Phone number is 0433 349 040

Cheers,
Graeme

All sorted now.

Thanks very much to Pushy who offered to lend me his. I had sourced one less than 10 minutes before he called.

Cheers,
Graeme

Thanks Richard, but I don't think yours would have worked. I need one that's not already full of hot air.

I guess they must be rowing that boat over from China - haven't heard anything from Craig yet. At this rate, I'll be able to chuck it on my trailer and deliver it to you in person as I drive through just after Christmas ..... :?

Cheers,
Graeme
