Put this thing together yesterday. Polo test tomorrow
Parts
Frame was advertised as a track but it's heavy as sh*t and has wrong geometry, bottle cage bolts. Cost $135 including BB, headset and postage Perfect for polo though
Wheels old pair of Velocity Aeroheads (fixed/fixed) that I had rooted the thread of the lock ring, both sides, and were useless for fixed set up. Nothing works quite like a chain whip folks!!
Cranks- Prowheel something from Ebay for $1.00! 38 tooth chain ring includes funky black guard!
Rear cog- 20 tooth free wheel =$20
Seat post- free (already had it) shimmed out with Diet-Coke can $1.80. I have a 25.8 on order to fit properly.
Seat- free in my shed. Geebuz it's ugly!!
Stem- harsh looking Kalloy for $13 second hand. Sanded with 1400 wet and dry and then polished
Bars- free from tip. Love them as they have a gentle slope backwards
Brake- complete, I had in the shed from before when I wasn't riding brakeless on my commuter
Grips- Snafu's $10 bargain bin
Tires-
--= rear Botranger Race X Lite(700 x 23) $32
--= front CST Falt Fighter (700 x 28) $35
Pedals- free in my shed but will replace with my son's BMX pedals when I ask him if that's ok
Chain- Izumi ( I honestly won't ride with anything else anymore) - $30 or something but I don't care how much they cost!

Looks nice and simple...
Have you tighten the chain tension, it looks a bit drops..

Real bike polo players would have shimmed the post with a beer can. Diet coke, pffft...
Grumps
PS: Seriously now, I like the colour and it's a nice looking clean build. Have fun!

You are very tedious, and grumpy. Stay at home and give advice from your armchair.

Rice beer!aaron wrote:
Seriously they use rice as an adjunct(percentage) to help keep costs down, instead of barley.
Aussie breweries use sucrose, and American/mexican's use maize.
Lightens the body and addsalcohol content.
Oh yeah...Nice lookin polo rig too
