I know it was only in jest, but I have seen too many useful parts destroyed by 'use the hammer' type thoughts. Right tool, right job, useable parts. You never know when a project will come up requiring just that part. That and as you learn more you also learn how to modify parts to make them more useful or better looking.

BAN THE HAMMER!

Funny, that's my exact thought every time I use a new tool. Just something about everything working as it should for a change I guess :P

Haha Tools do make everything so much quicker and less frustrating...

But anyways if u dont care if ur crank gets damaged i have another way to get it off with out a pulley. unscrew and ride around till it falls off.

good luck

I do think the original paintwork would have looked marvelous on a fixie. What wheels do you plan to get?

errr.. a bike store.

But to answer your question in a helpful manner; I got my Steamroller's 1/8" chain at Georges, Willeton. They do a lot of BMX/Freestyle stock and carry the good name brands

What's the driveline crank like? Is it disappointing or usable?
So we get the leaders we deserve and we elect, we get the companies and the products that we ask for, right? And we have to ask for different things. – Paul Gilding
but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.
