One of the things she bangs on about is her hair not being suitable for helmets.
As far as I know she lost her case. She should build a bridge......one that leads to a hairdresser/shearer

Simply not the case, on both counts.Baldy wrote:Have you even read her blog Andrew? I very much doubt she would find what Norbs said offensive. I actually think she would agree with him
One of the things she bangs on about is her hair not being suitable for helmets.
As far as I know she lost her case.
SMH wrote:But Ms Abbott says it's nothing to do with her exuberant hair. Her objections are based on her belief that wearing a helmet increases the risk of brain damage - and that forcing her to wear one is a breach of her civil liberties.
SMH wrote:Judge Roy Ellis happily admitted his own doubts about the laws.....
......''I frankly don't think there is anything advantageous and there may well be a disadvantage in situations to have a helmet - and it seems to me that it's one of those areas where it ought to be a matter of choice.''
He found Ms Abbott had ''an honestly held and not unreasonable belief as to the danger associated with the use of a helmet by cyclists'', and quashed her conviction, although he still found her offence proven.
Again, a somewhat offensive comment being pushed forwardBaldy wrote:She should build a bridge......one that leads to a hairdresser/shearer

You can talk untill your blue in the face, I dont believe for one second that part of it is not about her "do".
If the cycle chic wannabes can take pot shots at lycra wearing "racers" then why cant they handle some of their own medicine? What about redheads? We call them ranga's and everyone has a chuckle, including most redheads I dont see what I wrote as being any different. It was a good natured dig at her permfro.
Dont be so bloody precious.

Really, if that's nasty, I must still be in kindergarten. Seems like you have a bug up the back passage about a lot of my posts. Maybe whack me on your ignore list.Aushiker wrote:Nasty nasty ....
