Oh, I dunno. Typical "small" rings were usually 40 or 42-teeth, so you'd have a low gear about 39 to 41 gear inches with your standard 14-28 freewheel.

I'm referring to the fact the small ring unbolts and leaves the big ring as it's a lowend one piece affair.Can't remove both and reinstall smaller or after market.

I am probably going to paint it then I will get a new wheel set, cranks, brakes and fixie parts.

Probably not. I don't think an SR stem would fit on cinelli bars.

Nah, They aren't Cinelli but I would like a pair of Track Bars w/ a Cinelli Stem. They would look good... (rephrase) they always look good.

I know I know . Im not having a go at you.

You know if he wants to use track bars and 58/16 gear and have the seat resting on the top tube and two disc wheels and no brakes on a single speed. He's 12 he'll figure it out for himself eventually.
