Recently it's been cheaper to order Velocity wheels from the US and post them back to Australia than it has going to your LBS.
I know where I'd be buying them.

The entire company for $700?!?!?!? I'm buying it!!EvilGenius wrote:The Velocity would retail for $700. The white ones.
If you're talking about a set of Velocity Deep V rims laced to Velocity hubs you'll get them for $450 or less but rarely under $400.
18 months a go I bought mine for $295 as someone had orderd them and then never returned to pick them up.
As far as I know colour doesn't make a difference unless it a specialised laminated one
However I don't think they sold many sperm ones anyway

How much would those go for? They look quite good.aaron wrote:Personally I reckon the Fusion is a nicer looking rim than the Deep V and is solid enough to do whatever you want as long as it's not tricking.

I have a pair of Zeus hubs laced to black Fusions, with braking surface, if you're interested.

I just looked them up and saw that a site sold them for $159 each. Normal price? Cause I may get one after I get a job....

Same but not poor, just laking of money... I'm 12... I think that I may wait to buy wheels for a fixie and find a good pair of Velocitys for a price like the man on Gum Tree. I was thinking bout buying the Weinmann's but Velocity wheels have a better ride and more strength and I know that when I was younger (younger then I am now) that I used to thrash my bike around and then the wheels would get all untrue and I would be riding around on something I didn't enjoy riding on.nathann wrote:Ahha, I'm sorta poor at the moment
It's always, always, the wheels or the brakes!!!!
