I see in the earlier thread about kenevans, Garry has a keevens funny bike pic with a jj special in the background.
I also have a jj special and have only ever seen 1 other photo of 1.
Any chance you can post some pics of it and provide some info about it,
I understand it was J Stewart and he had a bike shop in Fawkner in Nthn Melbourne does all this sound right?

Hi stevendavid75 - I think you know much more about JJ Special's than me. I have been told that they were built by a guy that was basically a track rider and he built bikes for other track riders. Mine is the bike I take away on holiday for getting around on.or ride it to the shops. It doesn't look flashy but I am impressed with the build quality.

I only have 2 photo's of it:

I added some interesting parts such as the Prior hubs (with 27 1/4" rims) and an inch pitch chain and rings.

Ah thanks for getting back to me, I actually have some old bike mags late 70's early 80's that have an add for his shop, certainly not sure how many were made but certainly dont see many around.
I have a couple pics of mine that I will post when I have served my 10 days probation period.
Anyone else have any info or seen any others at all?
