The nil by mouth thing waiting for the op is a pain. I went through that for three days late last year with my hand becasue I kept on getting bumped from the surgery queue. Finally on day 4 I got in. Similarly, the orderly thought I was slightly mad to be happy going in. So I know what you mean about that.
When I asked what was different about today (in terms of not being bumped again), I got "no life threatening cases". That kinda puts you in your place!
I have to say that one of the good things about that time was that with the, erm hardening side effects of the high doses of codeine I was on during recovery, discovering the joys of orange flavoured Metamucil.
Yes, I know, TMI. But maybe useful to Missy.

... for your homework, you have to watch "Life of Brian" and "The Holy Grail". Because your education is sorely lacking!

And for next week's homework, you have to tell us the average wing tip velocity of a South African sparrow carrying a coconut... or what happened to the Knights that say "Ni"!twizzle wrote:And....?

FWIW - I've spent HOURS trying to debug UPnP between Windows and my Billion ADSL router so I can get BitTorrent to work properly. Still doesn't work, I've had to manually forward the ports, and I'm thinking about disabling the firewall in the router.Missy24 wrote:you have to watch Greenwingtwizzle wrote:And....?
