MG,
I have an idea. I take no resposibility for any horrid results.
Cut that seat lug off with a hacksaw. Trim the rear section off with a hacksaw as much as is needed to fit a post clamp and use a post clamp.
How's that?
Funny you should mention that, I am going to the LBS today to discuss that possibility. Will keep you posted.

But from the 2nd pic you posted it looks like it has reinforcement at the rear which would put that idea out the window.Wazza wrote:MG,

Hi All,
just got the reply from Netti regarding warranty and no backup for second owners . So I am going to make some phone calls to MGs contact to see if he can do something for me.
TLL,
If I don't get a cost effective result from MGs contact, I intend to shape the tube so that I can fit a stand alone clamp similar to the one that is on my Specialized. Don't know if it will work but hey, I've got no place to go now other than up for this frame.
Anyhow I'll keep you all posted as to the results
