can't fault Steve and Michele (AT) Corsa Cycle Centre....

You could not go past these guys for service and knowledge! and they know how to get the most out of your bike and you!

I have had 3 tweeks to my fit over the last few months, and can't be happier!!!

so if you are serious about your bike, this is where you go!!!

The GF was back for another refit at http://www.corsacyclecentre.com/

These guys just do such an amazing job.... and in my opinion are waaaaay too cheap for the quality of work they do!!!!

had a -17deg stem fitted and some new bars and RED cranks....

6.2 kg bike now!!!

GF now is making more power, and is even more aero!!!!!

can't say enough about these boys!!!!

How much would people expect a reputable LBS to charge to replace a groupset on my bike keeping in mind I would buy the parts online, rather than at the LBS?

Would someone here do it with me (so I can learn)? I'd pay them whatever the average LBS charge would be + beer! :)

It's actually really easy - Just a matter of bolting everything on. You should be able to do it yourself. What groupset are you replacing, and with what?

I'm happy to do it myself because it looks easy as pie. I guess I just want an inspection to ensure I have dont it correctly and nothing is going to fall off when I'm on the road. Replacing 105 with DA 7900.

Yeah, easy as pie. If you've got the right tools (BB remover, torque wrench and allen keys) you'll be set. One thing that is worthwhile doing is getting the shop to face the bottom bracket shell, as this allows the BB to sit flush and prolongs its life. The groupset should come with instructions on how to install everything anyway.

Haven't met Michele yet (or is it the other bloke there rather than a girl ?).

Nah, the SLC-SL is the wrong size, send it back and get a 56cm.

The guys at Mike Turturs have been incredible so far. Great advice and really good set up as well as a good deal and excellent service. My wife can't wait to get her bike from them.
As for the shop on Rundle St, I sent my father in law in to have a look at a cheap hybrid. They didn't have any left but they did try to sell him a size S ladies bike at $200 more.
Have had some terrible service at JTs too, although the in law ended up getting great service at the new JTs on Main North Rd.
I've been getting my flat bar and my wifes hybrid serviced at a new place on Torrens road - awesome service and ultra-awesome price!
Lycra - It's a privilege not a right.
