bar grip to bar size questions.

Hi guys,

I have an old Ritchey flat bar I'm using on my fixie, and I want new bar grips. Most sites I visit won't tell me the clamp size/bar diameter that thte grips are meant to fit.

I measure my bar diameter to be 22mm.

The bar grips I am looking at seem to be for mtb or XC bikes and so I'm a bit worried what size bars are used here. On top of this the bar I have is a bit old and so I am worried that the newer bar on bikes are a bigger size...

I'm looking at some simple bar grips like these, (not a big fan of the normal bmx style ones) would anyone know if these would fit well onto a bar with 22mm diameter?
I'm really keen to get my bike together and i want to order some parts in the next few days!

MTB and BMX bars are both 22.2mm at the grip end.

They differ at the stem clamp, with BMX being 22.2mm, MTB being 25.4 or 31.8.

So the short answer is, you'll be fine.
