Hyperglide chains
Postby Deanj » Thu Dec 13, 2007 5:41 pm
Had a bit of spare time yesterday so decided to take the chain off and give everything a good clean up. Re joined the chain and thought to myself 'this pins going in easy.' It then clicked its a shimano hyper glide chain, am I right in saying I'm meant to rejoin it with a new pin or am I thinking of something else?

In fact, the Wipperman Connex connector is even nicer.

Here's another one, chainbreakers are for repairs not maintenance.

Hmm not much use, is it the same with the wipperman? It says avaliable for 8-9 speed chains but they do a 10 speed one?
I have a 10SPeed wipperman Connex...just the same as a 9 speed...easy on...easy off...shiny and clean
