Webmaster Request.

Postby Quinns Rocks Roadie » Fri Dec 17, 2010 4:18 am

I commonly use the 'jump to most recent post' function/symbol that is placed immediately to the right of the most recent posters' name.
This symbol is small and too close to the poster's name hyperlink to be ergonomically friendly - any chance of doubling the size and moving it over to the far right ?.

Hi

Try changing the board style in the User Control Panel. I use subsilver2. It may work better for you.

This would be easily do-able, but as always probably subject to enough interest to make the edits and upkeep when upgrading etc worthwhile. I tend to agree it would be an improvement to the prosilver style which bumps it up my list but Christopher is ultimately the one who would have to edit the code so will be his call.
Alternatively some boards use text in addition to or instead of the image which would be a bigger target - especially for mobile users.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe

Hi, thanks to you both.
I am now trying 'subsilver2' - whilst an improvement the target should be more biggerer I reckon.
Like this - Image
or this -Image
A even better alternative might be to ditch the poster's name hyperlink and make all the far right text the hyperlink to the most recent post, effectively making a huge mouse target.
Christopher, thanks in advance if you can do this.
