Sounds to me like that fruitcake cop is not (mentally) fit to hold such a position.
The sooner he gets his comeuppance the better.

How exactly can you become cop without a reasonable knowledge of the law? It's like being a taxi driver and not knowing where major landmarks in a big city are...

Sad that these guys are legally allowed to carry guns and tasers and use them on "ordinary" folk. At least having professional statewide cops, our standards can be more consistent and weed out most of the power bullies - the rest we put in Highway Patrol

I have a great deal of respect for most cops, but there are some powertripping scumbags out there with no idea of the law...it disgusts me
