Repco XT1 crosstracks

Postby jay2 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 7:50 pm

Hello all,
In Adelaide 12-13 years ago I Bought a Repco crosstracks XT1 ladies bike. From memory, it was quite pricey for the time ($300-400?).
It has been sitting in the garage for over 8 years and I would like to repair it (think the tyre tubes are worn). Apparently it is about $80-150
to service and fix any broken parts. I would be using the bike between once and three times a week with my daughter and son for leisure and
fitness. Is it worth repairing for the above amounts or just buying one from Big W for $200? :?: If the bike is a good solid bike I would rather spend the
$150 repairing and maintaining then buying a poorer quality bike. I am not sure though if this bike is a good solid one? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jay2 :D
