ACF Losers Club 2011
Postby The Womble » Sun Dec 26, 2010 7:53 pm
As for me, surgery on my bum region 3 months ago has had me off the bike and unable to walk more than 2-3km at a time, and thats when I'm not bleeding.
As the surgery wasn't too successfull I've been told I have to go back in in the new year and I'm getting both angry and desperate to get stuck into things again. I've started the weights again in the last week and have avoided all the Christmas food so far. I'm just too aware of my weight in the last half of this year.
My current weight:124kg
my goal weight: 80kg (8 years ago)
2011 goals: first race in 20 years
Get back to 7.5 litres lung capacity (currently 5.1)
First EVER 200km ride (previous milestone 124km)
Good luck everyone!!!

Desired weight: 85kg can't remember when, closest I've been is 90.9kg some 6 years ago
Goal: To get back on my bike when my ankle lets me! Got a trainer coming which should see me getting some km's in every day whilst I regain my strength

Ok, so what should we call it?Utedog wrote:We were thinking about a name change but meh whatever, yeah its best if losers weigh in and post their weight weekly but also alot of us not all have the whole years posts every week so people can follow their progress,i copy and paste mine from a word file so at the end of the year i'll have 50 odd weights posted plus weekly k's get posted next to my weight.does that make sense? Hope so

Hadnt decided, had 1/2 a dozen imaginative ideas but they didnt jump out at us,prob would have gone with something boring in the end like losers club or something,i thought my idea of '2011 tour de loser' was awesome tho! Nice name change-simple,boring and nice. Now we need the mods to make it a sticky, either in general (or in cycling health which we touched on somewhere back in time....)The Womble wrote:You are

No problem. Cycling Health seems logical for this thread as this sub-forum didn't exist a the start of 2010.Utedog wrote:Nice name change-simple,boring and nice.
