Hi,
Does anyone know any cycling groups in Adelaide and if so where they start from etc, etc?
Cheers,

There's a few going around. Have a look back through the older threads in this section.
A few bike shops have weekend outings. Tailwind being one in Reynella down South.

Do you have any group riding experience yet?
I highly recommend you to go to the Cobwebs first before heading to a "LBS ride" as Cobwebs teach you the basics and goes at an easy pace. (They encourage you to go into the 25 and 28 speed groups(average speed))
A LBS ride would expect you to know what you are doing and won't wait for you if you get dropped as they are made up of mainly racers.
Cobwebs start at 8am in front of the Buffalo

MEGA BIKE teach you how to group ride. They have 3-4 different speed groups and new riders are encouraged to ride in the 25km/h group where you get all the lessons you could want in how to group ride. Have a look at their web site it has a rundown on the rides. PAL do group rides from Mawson Lakes do a google search as well.
Why do most group ride happen on a Sat morning??. I have father son time on Sat mornings (the wife works in the morning and I take him swimming) so I miss out on all the fun;(

Have a look through the Ride Program on the Bike SA website.
They run organised rides all through the week, graded by speed and difficulty.

No racers at Tailwind and Nathan is careful that no one gets dropped.
