For everything in life there is always something you could have done to prevent it , in hindsight...
Being a victim of a crime is not a crime itself.
Let's make something clear.
There are two types of cyclists out there, the one that doesn't care, and has no lights and no intentions to use them.
These are the worst., they are repeat offenders.
And the ones that do care and do have intentions of using them.
Theses can be caught out by a defected light or theft, something that is not always being anticipated.
When this happnes , the don't immediatetly fall into the first category, they are stil resposbile riders , but with a bit of bad luck.
It wil happen once in a blue moon, these things happen.
