Hi All,
Took my MTB up to Frycinet Peninsula thinking that there would be heaps of tracks up there to ride. Only had a day and couldn't find any....Looked on the web and didn't have much luck. Does anyone know of a good website showcasing MTB tracks around Tasmania? Or could people please post some reviews of tracks etc.
Thanks in advance.
Regards

Howdy sarason58, you'll probably find this site a bit quiet on the Tassie MTB front unfortunately... Pedalbite would be worth a try (though IME they're not exactly welcoming to n00bs, YMMV).
The only ones I know from experience are the fire trails around Mt Wellington and singletrack at the Domain, though I know there are also good trails at The Lea, Conningham, Freycinet, Blue Tiers etc as well as the MTB parks at Glenorchy and Eastern Shore (Rosny?). I seem to remember hearing that there are some good tracks in a nature reserve at Seven Mile Beach too.
From memory the HCC website has good info on the trails within their area, Kingborough Council's website would also be worth a look but they're a bit less pro-MTB IME.
Good luck!
