Personally i like about $4 worth of chips, piece of fish, chiko roll and a large chocolate milkshake. I don't win many races though
You should eat what you normally eat. Just keep it light and give yourself a 1 1/2 - 2 hours so that it settles down. Drink plenty of water.
You will not need feeding during the race and you probably won't need to drink either if you have been hydrating well previously.

The trouble with jogging is that the ice falls out of your glass

as per redbull, eat normally and make sure you drink plenty of water during the day.
Have a choclate donut an hour before the race....don't know if it will help, but I really love donuts.
Good luck and have fun.

I ride several bicycles, but not at once.

on top of lunch, usually have yoghart and apple about 1.5 hour before the race.
as for water, i don't go through more than 300ml of water in a 40min+2lap race. so i suggest only bring a 400ml bottle with you for the race.

Don't flog yourself on Thursday if you are early on in your training block. Rest your legs on Friday (or go for a gentle stroll) then on Saturday a light ride.MDL wrote:After riding Tuesday Wednesday and thursday my legs still feel like jelly. Anything I can do?

The only thing you should be eating during the race is your handle bars.
