I didn't know what to do with myself after the ride this morning as I didn't have to wash the road grime off or lubricate the chain.

Came home, mowed and I am a ball of sweat! It's 33.2 now but the apparent temp is nearly 38!

At 5am on Cootha it was sort of cool..... but when I got home at 8am it was revolting. And then got worse.

Good idea getting there early. My group met at 6:30 at JC Slaughter and started then. I think I got home just before 9 and she was getting pretty warm. 3 water bottles on the ride plus about a litre when I got home.

It was almost like an English summer day!
Clean bike is clean no more, and the wet weather gear had stayed home....

Bring on winter i say, have to be the best time of the year in Brisbane.
I never take them off the bike. Summer they are set to flashing, Winter (last week) set to constant at least for the start. But that's usually 4:40am for me.

Yaay well done.

I saw a dude riding in with no shirt on today and thought that was a good idea in this rain. Took me 1:10 on the bus - 40 minutes longer than the ride

Correct me if i am wrong but RockVegas is not noted for having moderate climate.
Oldtimers in Queensland used to talk about the "Gladstone line", north of which was considered "too hot" for non-indigenous habitation

Not enough breeze and too much humidity! Very nice during winter though.
