I think that's actually because we take a European feed that doesn't start until that time anyway. When I was living in Indo, I'd have Eurosport which would televise anything and everything cycling, and they'd only start televising about halfway through races.

Ballan wrote:I knew Fabian was good, but so strong? It was extraordinary and rarely seen. Last year Cancellara was very good and I think he is even stronger than then.
Actually, the tactic for Sunday is simple: we should just try to follow Cancellara. That's not hard, at least on paper.![]()

ft_critical wrote:Quickstep put Chavanel in the break, then Boonen just has to mark Fabio. He won’t be stupid enough to let him out of his sight this time. Chav will figure Fabio to go somewhere between the Tenbosse and Kapelmuur again, then drop Boonen on either the Kapelmuur or Bosberg. So if I were Chav and still in the break, he needs to get off the front of the break there too. Which I think he is capable of. Then if Fabio can make the junction, he will have had to drag a fresh(ish) Boonen all the way and he will lose in the sprint. I would like to see the Chav channel Stijn and just stay away.
So that might happen, that would be nice, but we probably can all think of a more likely outcome. I think this year Fabio will be more tightly marked though. I think that Ballan might be able to hang on for a while possibly Gilbert. I don’t think Haussler can based on E3 nor Thor but Garmin will be running the same strategy as Quickstep. I am guessing Leopard will be trying to use Stuey to be the break spoiler.
