Correct me if i am wrong but RockVegas is not noted for having moderate climate. Oldtimers in Queensland used to talk about the "Gladstone line", north of which was considered "too hot" for non-indigenous habitation

It is ok temperature wise, but we are in a bowl with mountains surrounding and a river through the middle of town. Doesn't make for a cool dry city!
Not enough breeze and too much humidity! Very nice during winter though.

Got it all this morning. Cold gusty wind on Coro drive at 5am , fog going up Cootha at 5:30, then constant rain "til about 10km from home. Still my Gore jacket, cap & booties worked. Oh yeah, and the bike started filthy and still is filthy, net change = zero.

Rode this morning in drizzle. The sort that makes you bike filthy, still it was a ride and that's the main thing. Fitting Crud RoadRacer mk2 mudguards before tomorrow's ride.

Nice Week , considering the weather Thought I was going to get a dry one this morning buuuut down it came again.

I headed out after work this afternoon and got 1k into the ride and the weather was getting worse (read wetter). Turned round and went home. first time I've bailed out of a ride but I'm really getting bored with wet weather. I guess it gave me time to prep the bike and attach the battery for tomorrow mornings ride, providing it's not raining.
Unless you are at the front of the pack the view's the same.

Great day again on the Liquid Sunshine Coast. It was either full on rain or full on sunshine. I had a great dry 50K at first light this morning though. I hope it's belting down tomorrow morning as my bike is in getting a little TLC and I'm going to have sleep in.

It's back to the Melbourne weather in BNE. Fine for an hour. Overcast then rain... probably fine again soon!

Rode on the Gold Coast this morning, it was looking like rain but it held off...just a very gusty south-easterly blowing all the way to Coolangatta but it may for a quick ride back to Southport Temperatures have cooled off with the SE wind, which is a bonus!

Brilliant morning ride, into town from Runcorn, brekky at West End, over the Go-Between through the Uni and over the Green Bridge and back to Runcorn along the S-E freeway bikeway. Blue skies and cooler temps.
