 It's a bit like that, isn't it? Summer is much less complicated! It was about 9 degrees on my ride this morning but it was the wind that hurt, I did a bit of online shopping today (on my lunch break of course...) and bought some new warm things for riding. I realised I'll have some nice winter bike clothes but no money for nice winter non bike clothes. Oh well!

LOL, yup, your a real cyclist now, when you spend more on gear to wear on the bike and having nothing left over for clothing for off!

What did you get??

Lol, tomorrow's another day, and we're planning on getting up early to ride before work...again!

Usually we meet another 2 or 4 riders which is motivating in its self to get up and not disappoint other people, but not this morning! Mr MM and I looked at each other and said nope, we're having more sleep :) ...easy when no-one else is waiting for you!

Well done parker,
I have been exercising my mouth, lots of chewing going on . It’s just too cold for anything else

Sure thing, Comedian, heckle away :D

No, not the mountain, probably an early, cold and quick run into town and back home....it's Mother's Day tomorrow.

Not much training happening at my end thanks to the crumby lower back BUT....I'm not going to let it get me down like it once did! I've booked in for some intensive one on one pilates sessions from next week which is the beginning of getting stronger for me. Setting up the indoor trainer this week and am going to start off with some light spinning and as the back progresses slowly ramp up the intensity. Yes I can accept I'm not as strong on the bike as I was last year but that's no reason to think I can't get back to that level again :-) (Besides I have the ladies tour de snowies to prepare for :-D)

I'm here...has the onset of winter forced everyone to hibernate???

56k for me today, only my 2nd ride for this week  , hubby bought me an uber bright light this week so I can see the potholes and glass at 5am when it is dark out, going to give it a try-out tomorrow morning.
I'll feel more confident of being seen with my new light compared to my old one :)

Good riding Julie.

Only my second ride this week as well Lisa! I've been sick, kids have been sick and the mornings are so cold! I'll give the mornings a go next week, was glad to get on the bike today :) and will go again tomorrow.

A brighter light makes such a difference! Very thoughtful of hubby :)
