First Time Trial

Postby Rider123 » Sat May 07, 2011 10:41 pm

Hi, I have decided to do my first Time Trial at Kew Boulevard with the Blackburn Cycling Club on the 22nd. As this is my first time trial, i've got a couple of questions with regards to the running of the morning.

Do i need to register my interest, send them an e-mail beforehand, or do i just turn up on the day?

Will someone hold on to my bike at the start so i can start clipped in or do i have to clip in after at the start?

Is it a full road closure?

What is the time interval between starters and when will I find out when my starting time is?

After the time trial, will I get my result/time soon after I finish or will i have to find out the next day online? Is there any presentations during the day and is there any prize money for the place getters? (if so, is the prize money calculated from the entry fees)

Thanks in advance.

Have you contacted the Club? If no, why not?

The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.

generally you are clipped into your bike and a marshal will hold you then push you at the start and there is normally 15 seconds between each rider.
when do we stop for coffee???
