He he.
Spent all my money on the bike - so instead of carpet I have a thin layer of leaves throughout the house. No seriously, the 'sniper' carpet is at my parents house - not sure whether I am a fan ....

Thanks heaps for that advice, I was unsure what to do with it, hunting for those patches now. Shoe goo? is that like some sort of hair product?Richard.L wrote:Divinal - stick a patch under it and if u really want, put some shoe goo in the tear.

Your bars look quite high as well - maybe filp the stem and remove some spacers ? Otherwise - Nice bike - the new giants look really sleek and fast

a bit of info would be good on this, its columbus tubung and lugged, and has r.bailey on the bb shell. ive been getting into painting them up, this is my second painted.
has fiamme ergal rims, super record l/flange hubs, super record grouppo, cinelli bars/stem.
this is i think another r bailey frame, track frame though. built this up as a bitch bike to smash into uni. ended up with some sweet parts though ;s
sugino super mighty cranks, super record high flange pista hubs, ergal rims, fiamme crit. bars. no brakes of course.
i also have a avanti corsa with9speed record, slwoly built it up over years.
hope you liked em'

They are, however a little unhappy to hear the comment "o yea that's where they all go" let's hope the replacement holds together.roadrash wrote:How awful! It's a fantastic ride and a shame, but hey! at least I get a new one.

Shes well overdue for a strip and repaint.
She well travelled in the UK, Ireland and NZ, as well as some central tableland NSW.
I'm looking forward to some WA touring in the near future.

So BBright is BBwrong - interesting. They are supposed to be Paris/Roubais performers.smileNnod wrote:They are, however a little unhappy to hear the comment "o yea that's where they all go" let's hope the replacement holds together.roadrash wrote:How awful! Its a pity. Those R3s are sexy bikes.

Correct it isn't the BBright model being 2010 only. However a frame which confidently shows a sticker saying "Paris Roubaix Winner" should not have such a common issue. google R3 frame crack. Common.stang1 wrote:(AT) Notwal , thats the old R3, not the new R3 which has the BBright BB.

I've done a bit of recycling and reconfigured my 2 old bikes with bits
The Ironhorse hybrid now has 9 speed Tiagra, drops, Mavic wheels and CX tyres, mudguards.
My red HASA Roadie is now a black Flatbar Single Speed
And the Felt F5 looks like this.
..But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs!
