Hey !
So I'm heading to Port Macquarie for work this Thurs 9th to Mon 13th. I'm planning on taking my roadie with me so wondering if anyone recommend any good rides around there? Or know a casual group I could ride with one morning?
Much appreciated

When I go up on the occasional weekend I ride south along Ocean Drive to Lake Cathie/Laurieton. Seems to be quite a popular route with many cyclists along the way.
You can look up the half ironman/ironman cycle course and do something similar to it if you like (includes the Ocean Drive route as previously mentioned).

Yes well I rode down Ocean Drive but it was awfully bumpy the first 15 km. Seems they have re tarred the road and it's not cyclist friendly .... oh yeah and then it rained It was okay but I'm sure Port Macquarie has more to offer than the ride I did lol

Yeah they made a meal out of it, there wasn't anything wrong with the surface to start with either.
Thats part of the ironman course aswell, i'd hate to ride it with a disc.
just had a week of solid rain here so wasn't much riding going on
