Gateway Bridge path?

Postby Crawf » Wed Jun 08, 2011 11:47 am

Hi, I was wanting to ride up to Redcliffe this weekend over the gateway bridge and was wondering where the connecting paths are for the bridge and then to Nudgee, as it's not an area I want to be flaffing about near.
Is this route still valid with all the recent construction?

Thanks

Gateway Bridge path?

That's just another example of poor infrastructure. There aren't any good paths leading to it on either end. Crazy.

Then if not "enough" people use it that's justification not to build any more. :(

Yeh once dumped on the North of the the bridge there does not seem any straight forward way to get the wetlands, negotiating trucks, overpasses and the industrial area look like fun

I've got a track map somewhere. I'll look for it tonight. It might even be on Bikely.

head over the bridge, follow the bike path to KSD, head over the schneider rd bridge, turn left onto the bike path which follows lamington ave until you hit nudgee rd and head up to the bikeway...

it's a bit !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !!, but you don't have to mess with the trucks.

it's a bit superfantastic, but you don't have to mess with the trucks.
I think that pretty much covers what I just created:
