Just thought I would mention that SBS have a pretty good app out for iPad etc. Looks interesting and will be trying it out tonight.

Tour has started on the SBS app, 3 riders have a 3.30 break with 189 km to go.

The app is pretty good, live video, and also place markers on a map plus chat updates.

Not bad for a freebie.

Omega definitely working hard, hope Gilbert gets the win otherwise he may get some looks in the team bus. Would love Goss to win though, HTC said they were working for Cav but that could just be the red herring seeing as he cant climb to save his life and judging by all the talk from Phil and Paul its the Tourmalet

does Cadel get a full min 1.20 on Schleck and Wiggo though i think those guys went down in the second crash so they may get the same time as the rest of the bunch but a 1.20 on Contador is brilliant

http://www.letour.fr/2011/TDF/LIVE/us/1 ... index.html has Contador and Andy Schleck at 1' 20" and Frank Schleck at 6". I guess there may be a change in the provisional results.

The letour website now has A Schleck at -:06, Contador remaining at -1:20. I assume that means that A Schleck was seen in the leading bunch after the first accident.

My highlights from last night.

- Greipel dropping it in the neutral zone.

- Matt Keenan talking about oysters 4 times in 45 minutes.
- Vanendert's failed bunny hop and subsequent heavy stack about 70kms into the race.
- The intermediate sprint. That is really going to shake things up for the green jersey this year.
- The mayhem when the spectator got cleaned up and slowed up Contador.
- Team BMC getting to the front to protect Evans
- Gilbert's finish
- Evans finish

Learning about how royalist the Vendeeans are, and the farmers on their lawnmowers (?) going around as the wheels of a big bicycle display made out of haystack. Tres cute.

And realising how surreal Le Tour spectators are. No illicit substances required.
