Nice Julie...I'm leaving early tomorrow to go for the final fit with my new bike, it'll be too late by the time we finish to take it for a spin!
And the weather looks like rain on Sat...not sure if I want to get my new baby wet on its maiden ride

I remember it was rainy and blowing gale forced winds when my new bike arrived a couple of years ago. First ride I did on it was down the hallwaylovemybike wrote:Good luck with the bike fit! Good on you Apple! I've been thinking of doing the same because I haven't been riding as much. I rode 76kms today but only once during the week. Was a good ride...bit cold - 0 degrees - but nice to be out.

Not better, just easier to get up for and yes less wind chill.Ross wrote:So why is running better than cycling in the cool weather? Is it because you aren't going as fast therefore less wind chill?

So time consuming to get on the bike, I use the trainer and that's it, 1-2 hours is easy inside, you end up spending 3-4 hours outside. Wind chill as well, less of itApple wrote:Not better, just easier to get up for and yes less wind chill.Ross wrote:So why is running better than cycling in the cool weather? Congratulations Parker.
I'm still getting out there on the bike, had a hopeless month in June due to rain, colds and other excuses, but July is looking better already!
I haven't gone anywhere with my jogging goals, at this stage I'll be walking in the Bridge to Brisbane in Sept. not jogging it
How is everyone else going??? The women's section has gone very quite.
