BMC Jersey group buy?

Postby Mulger bill » Sun Jul 24, 2011 1:55 am

A worthy idea? Dunno if we can make sense of the logistics.

Cycling express has them but there's no sizing visible, even in checkout. Any suggestions of the best place?

Dunno MB. I have never heard of BMC before this Tour (Tour noob)

But interested in all their paraphenalia etc etc including the type of gloves Cadel wore to victory. And his socks. Might get the helmet too. Lol

(and jersey too of course  )

It would make sense to run this through Bostonceltics - forum member here and part of Cycling Express who I am certain would look after this.

Will leave it in your capable hands Shaun, just shout if you need support.

So we can keep an idea on numbers...

Just bought a BMC Team Machine today, awesome bike!! Will post some pics soon :D. I'm super keen to organise a BMC jersey group buy sponsored by Cycling Express, should be able to work out an awesome deal!

Been a crazy week, got smashed into while driving on Thursday and then Cadel wins the Tour (and wins me $800 :D )

If anyone in Melbourne wants caps on Monday we have heaps of them in stock. Anyway, I'm giving one away along with some free nutrition to the first person who answers this question -

'How heavy where the steel balls that Cadel carried all the way to Paris this year?'

One million. As someone in the TDF thread might have suggested, he may have been storing them in the crevice in his chin :D

I'm interested in jersey and cap pending cost.

Still can't sleep.

10 tons...... A Verite..able schleckload???

2 x Schlecks, 1 x TV and half a Contador. Say about 200 kgs. Weight must have contributed to the wheel rub.

I'd be keen to see how much the bibs + jersey would be. I've heard good things about the quality of them.

id probably be interested in a jersey depending on the cost
White, Orbea Aspin, 2009
Red, Pinarello Sestriere, 2000
Trek 1500 ultegra gear, 2005
given the choice, would you rather share the roads with a woman texting in her four-wheel-drive, a manic truckie, a boy in a grey-import turbo, or a cyclist?

+1, was just going to say yes in the heat of the moment then i remembered the Mrs. wont believe i "won" the jersey in a competition. So a very strong maybe as long a the price has'nt all of a sudden jumped because of a certain person winning a certain race

Are BMC allowed to produce a "commemorative maillot jaune"? Becase I would be very interested in that ;-)

I am keen for the lot as well depending on price. Still haven't slept since last night. Try to fit in a quick kip before tonight's coverage starts!
