Bike Details
Trek 7300L
S/N WTU223C0523C
2008 Model
Grey
Women's Specific (Step Through) Frame
Trek pannier rack
Wireless computer
Only 6 weeks old
When and Where
Taken around Sunday 10th Feb 11.30am
Taken from outside Newtown Mission Church on King Street Newtown (opposite the Dendy Cinema)
It was reported that a man about 40 years old, 5'5", large build took it
The man who saw him said he recognised him from one of the homeless shelters, so it's probable that it will be sold.
Unfortunately, I had neglected to secure the bike properly
Theft has been reported to Newtown Police and also on the National Bike Register

Broke my toe a few weeks ago so rode up to Newtown for the first time in a while this morning. Chained up the bike but was a bit zoned out and forgot to link it through the frame first - DOH! Totally my fault and feeling really stupid!
No insurance; $700 bike plus accessories - $1000 in total. Didn't think it was worth it if I was chaining it up properly (of course, that assumes that I WAS chaining it up properly).
Yes, I know .....

There's something evil in Sydney this weekend
Sorry to hear about it Stephie, best of luck.

On the one hand - YAY!!
On the other - damn...no shopping
Glad to hear it was returned - that must be a first for this board!!
Go and get a lotto ticket too - some of that good luck may just rub off on it.
