It is on again. I had a ball last year, despite have to fix two different problems on the same bike at different times and finishing after everyone else had finished and gone home!

James, did you do the 100 or 60?
I managed to do the 100 - despite not having best preparation - in 3:40 which was surprising. it was handy having a bigger group than last year, made sure i didn't finish behind the sag wagon
Cheers
Mick

I did the 60. Not nearly enough preparation but I managed to keep up with the 9 year old girl for most of the ride!
Ran out of puff on access 9 and then broke a couple of spokes on the hill just before the quarry, 4km or so from the uni) so average ended up being less than I wanted. GPS tracking puts it at 20.5kmh, but there were stops in that, cycle computer has a moving average of 23ish.
If you were there for the random draws, my Wife and I were the ones called up by Pete, who apparently went to Europe for our honeymoon.

No i bailed before the draws unfortunately. Ahhh Access 9 - it's a struggle, the only good things about it is the other side. One of the blokes in the 100 also did some spokes at the base of 9 (maybe he stopped and kicked them to avoid it???). my garmin link http://connect.garmin.com/player/102936247
