west head is a great and challenging ride. it can all look the same at times so you approach the crest of one hill thinking it's the last, only to discover there is another one in the distance!
the road is quiet and has been resurfaced so that's not a prob but watch out for wildlife esp around dawn and dusk. also there is nowhere to top up your water bottles so take plenty and a mobile phone as you may not see anyone else for a while esp on a week day
have fun...i'm jealous!

How bout the hills? Is it, like, super hilly? Would I make it to the top?

take your time, enjoy the serenity and you'll be fine l but there is no shame in stopping. walking on the other hand is strictly forbidden
west head rd is not too steep but undulating so gets to you after a while. "the wall" right at the end would be the hardest bit but making it to the lookout makes it all worthwhile.

Hey Paycheck,
I wait for you all month.
You finally show up and then immediately disappear.
