WTB: Redcliffe riding/training buddy. :P
Postby eth93 » Mon Aug 15, 2011 11:56 am
Hi all.
Basically I’m just looking for someone to ride with. Preferably on the peninsula as I don’t have a license (I was a little slow getting my L’s )
I don’t care what you ride, what you look like or any of that silly jazz. I’m just looking for a riding buddy.
I should also mention I’m a newbie.
Shoot me a pm if your keen and we can work out the details from their.
Cheers
Ethan

I'm sure there's people here who'd be interested. What sort of distances are you looking at?

Hi Max.
Right now my rides pushing 20km’s and I’m averaging 25k’s. I’d probably be more suited to another noob. But saying that I’ll happily tag along with anyone that will have me.
I’m looking to get out multiply times a week.

Hey Ethan, I just moved up to Brissy from Adelaide. Going to bring a bike back with me week after next. I work at Brisbane airport but Redcliffe doesn't look that far away to me. I can handle 50 to 80ks no problems and need to burn some weight off anyway.
I'll get in touch with you when I get back with my bike and sort something out.
Cheers

The weather is looking average all week. Mostly fine possible shower for Sunday though. What are you up to Waza/Ethan?

Hi eth93
I do a ride most mornings from near the old Redcliffe Fire Station in Oxley Ave (between Anzac & McDonald) to Deagon railway station leaving at a little before 06:00. I’m old, bald, grumpy and slow but you’re welcome to join me.
Send me a PM if you're interested.

It would not be at all strange if history came to the conclusion that the perfection of the bicycle was the greatest achievement of the nineteenth century.

Hi guys, new to the forums and thought I'd make my first post in a thread close to home
I do ride quite a bit on the peninsula but not quite at normal hours as I work shift
Quite often up at Nerosso Cafe in Redcliffe for an early morning Espresso or cruising over the bridge down toward Sandgate
Keep an eye out for a GT Aerostream or if I'm needing to lug something heavy to/from somewhere I'll be out on my wifes Gomier Trike
Cheer's
Nate
