Stolen!!: Custom Made Fixie Sparton frame (Wolli Creek)

Postby silvagibson » Mon Aug 29, 2011 7:25 pm

My beloved Bike was stolen yesterday at wolli creek train station (platform 2). I was waiting the train for 30 min and put my bike against the wall (3 meters from me). I started reading the newspaper and when I realized my bike was not there.

My sweetie is pretty unique here in Australia. Has a frame and fork handmade in south america called SPARTON (I've never seen one in Sydney).
My bike traveled thousands of miles with me from across the world and has accompanied me on this new adventure for three years. I'm really sad because it's not just my bike but my companion. I would really appreciate if someone can help me to find it.

Some details:

Frame and Fork: Sparton 505 (size 54) Grey

Handlebar: Dia Compe "Gran Compe" Track black

Cranks: Campagnolo Record

Saddle: Brooks B17 Brown

wheels: Back: Weinmann (black) flip-flop /Front: Bontrager blue

Picture: imageshack.us/photo/my-images/20/mysparton.jpg/

(The difference with the picture is basically brooks saddle and track handlebar)

Thanks to everyone!

Have you rang Wolli Creek Station and asked if there were any video camera footage?
