Today I installed a new 8 speed Shimano cassette on my road bike but when I gave it a test ride, it would appear the chain does not sit properly on the gears. Each time I pedal one revolution of the gear, the chain would jump a link. I haven't changed the chain either. Would that make a difference?
Can you tell me what I did wrong?
Installing a cassette

How many cogs was on the original cassette. 6,7and 8's have the same, 9 and 10 each have a different chain.
Well i'm pretty sure thats how it is.
