The rider will have a more upright posture on what is really a semi-recumbent. The back rest is of value in putting greater power to your pedal stroke. The nose tipped up is going to prevent you sliding forwards and with an upright posture your whole pelvis is tilted back more. I have done this sort of thing with my Shogun roadster. The saddle is tilted up a good bit more than my road bike. If I have it level I find that I slide forwards with annoying regularity.Marto wrote:I mean the seat looks happy to see you.Mulger bill wrote:Forget that loungechair, what's with the cranks on the swingarm???Marto wrote:What's with the seat?

A friend of mine did MTB rides and later did extensive touring on one of these (a smaller frame with the rear top tube level) for many years. He's passed it on to another friend who still uses it for touring. It's not so ugly really.Marto wrote:Some more contenders:

I think they were talking about the "item" underneath the seat...il padrone wrote:The nose tipped up is going to prevent you sliding forwards and with an upright posture your whole pelvis is tilted back more.

I don't think it's tooooo ugly. Maybe because I like the red paint . The proportions are okay, but it's trying too hard to be innovative. That's concept bikes for ya!CommuRider wrote:WT?Livetoride wrote: This one is bordering on okish....

That's odd isn't it. It has some nice Campy components so it seems to be serious but I don't understand it.bendertiger wrote:Did someone weld a bike rack around it or what?Marto wrote:Are we all forgetting our old friend?:

I agree. Its try hard designerising. You see those wheels a lot on concept bikes. I wonder if they actually work. They look like one of those dubious notions that gets picked up and copied without any functional justification.Marto wrote:I don't think it's tooooo ugly. Maybe because I like the red paint . Those type of wheels actually work but the giant hub (so called hubless) has weight, bearing drag and bearing seal problems from what I've read.notwal wrote:I wonder if they actually work.
