On September 21, my candy apple red, folding Bike Friday New World Tourist was stolen from my apartment's basement lockup in Brisbane city centre.
Bike details:
Bright red with Bike Friday stickers on the frame
Black H-bars with some red tape
20 inch wheels and a front pannier rack
Gray Crank Bros Candy peddles
Black Brooks B17 saddle with a Carradice bag bracket on the stem
SRAM Dual Drive
It was locked up in a secure lockup with a Masterlock Python cable lock - all cut. Five other cheaper bikes in the lockup were untouched. I reported the theft to police and am waiting to see if insurance will cover the loss. The police have the frame number. I'm keeping an eye out online and am looking at local pawn shops. I've contacted a number of local bike shops and posted appeals like this on local bocycle sites. Otherwise I don't know what else I can do except hope.
I appreciate being able to report it here and hope that if anyone sees my bike being ridden or online, could they please let me know here.
Regards,
Tim

Your bike should be pretty distinct. So good luck in recovering it.

Hi all,
Here's a picture of my bike taken when I was touring. The bags, bottle, pump and fenders were not on the bike when it was stolen. Also the peddles have been changed to gray Crank Bros Candy peddles. If you see or hear anything about it please let me know.
